Originally from Sioux Center, Iowa, Mike has lived in the Madison area since 2002. He holds a BA in Accounting from Dordt University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Iowa, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). A lifelong learner, Mike also earned his CPA certificate.
Mike is passionate about helping others build lasting wealth, guided by the belief that investing is a marathon—not a sprint. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, attending concerts, spending time with his family, doing minor home renovation projects, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Mike resides in the Verona area with his wife Jennifer and their two high school aged children: Adelynn and Brycen. They also have two dogs: Buzz, a chihuahua Pomeranian mix, and Finn, a cavapoo.
